The Ministry of Industry and Trade has called on marine transport and logistics businesses to cut fees for container storage and warehousing for companies that have reduced operations due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Enterprises appreciated the Ministry of Transport''s work to build a
decree to regulate charges of marine transport and port services, said
an official from an export association.
Local exporters are facing additional pressure from rising marine
transport costs charged by foreign shipping firms, which has led to
Vietnamese exports becoming less competitive.
